about
The Bobcat was a bicycle I had when I was around 10 years old. I loved that bike! I can’t seem to find any photos of it online. (If you find some, let me know!)
It was grey, with a hard plastic white seat, and white grips.
I left it outside the flea market one day and it was “stolen.” I use quotation marks because I’m not sure you can really say a bike was stolen if you didn’t lock it up. That’s right, I didn’t lock it up…hey – I was 10.
I wrote this tune as a soundtrack to a memory. The memory of riding around that one particular summer, not having anything important to do at all, calling on friends spontaneously to go play by the train tracks.
